Neil McSweeney is in town with his band to launch the eagerly anticipated follow-up to debut album 'Remember To Smile'.

Released in 2007 on London based KIDS Records, McSweeney's debut single 'Postcards' picked up repeat plays across Radio 1, 2 and 6 Music as well as a warm critical response. The album proper was similarly well received and so too were his live shows; Guardian critic Dave Simpson awarding Neil a four star review for a solo set upstairs in a Sheffield boozer.

Expect plenty of fresh material and a fuller sound from his new five-piece band.

"With deeply felt, brooding songs rich in imagery, he has the tools to make a huge impact." - The Guardian

"Steelier than your average troubadour." - Q Magazine
