The fifth in a series of London showcases for upcoming Irish bands, organised by Jay Mistry.

'i Am A Tree' is the debut album from Kyle John Suckling, this acclaimed Irish singer songwriter. Drawing on a variety of genres including pop, reggae and jazz, 'i Am A Tree' is the culmination of many years of soul searching, collaborations and encouragement from some of the world's most influential artists and an unmistakeable foundation in Nashville, where Kyle bought his first Gibson guitar, while touring America with Rufus Wainwright and Imogen Heap.

A Plastic Rose are a Sligo-raised but Belfast-based combo throwing the sort of radio-friendly alt.rock shapes and licks that auger well for their future. They were the first unsigned band to have BBC Radio 1 airplay across the schedule. Jo Whiley, Edith Bowman, Nihal, Hew Stevens and Tom Robinson all playing their debut single 'All You Know And Love Will Die'.

Reader's Wives are a Dublin based four piece. "diverting, polished and hard to pigeon-hole" - the Ticket / Irish Times. The band's Niall James Holohan has been described as Dublin's answer to Morrissey. Reader's Wives debut 'Secrecy & Sex' EP was released internationally on U.K. label 360 Degree Music in November 2009.
