English-born yet endlessly nomadic multi-instrumentalist Justin Grounds returns home to launch his new electro-acoustic record 'The Dissolving' as part of a tour of the UK and Ireland.  Drawing influences from Bach to Squarepusher, the record combines glitchy electronic textures with analog synth basslines, fragments of plucked violins sent through delays, ancient sounding string melodies and chiming thumb piano tones. On top of all this soars Grounds' voice, mystical and yearning, pulling together the layers to weave a kind of post-modern song cycle. 
 
A captivating solo performer, Grounds' ever evolving electro-acoustic show weaves home-made electronics and thumb piano with his virtuosic violin playing, building up epic electronic layers and manipulating them live. This unique album launch show at The Luminaire will feature live visuals by Phil Dunn, plus special guest appearances by old friends.
