If you had five minutes on stage, what would you say?

Ignite is an evening of five minute talks with twenty slides automatically changing every fifteen seconds. Speakers need to be succinct and think hard about what they want to say. This event is part of Global Ignite Week with other Ignite events happening all over the world. This is our second Ignite London event, The first was in November 2009 and was a great success with 200 people enjoying senveten excellent speakers.

We're after talks with a mix of funny and serious, social and personal, high and low tech, crafty, webby, environmental, quirky and mainstream. Making us laugh is a good thing, making us think is even better.

Some examples of previous talks to get you thinking:

Diarrhoea & Dodgy Doners: What's Special About Bacteria (Matthew Baker, slam poet)
The Renaissance Masters and their Mistresses (Ben Hammersley, Editor-at-Large, Wired Magazine)
Why Photography Defines Our World (Melissa McVeigh)
Surfing the Net as a Path to Enlightenment (Tina Basi)
Design + Business – A Real Life Partnership (Alan Smith)
Rediscovery: Brazil and the 21st Century (Jimmy Greer)
