"Composer and Musician, Rich Hinks, was just 17 years old when he wrote the songs that became the Aeon Zen debut album 'A Mind's Portrait' which with minimal promotion received fantastic accolades across the globe from specialist websites to UK's Classic Rock Presents Prog magazine and US Progression magazine. Debut Album of the Year (2009) in no less than 3 reviews which made the A Mind's Portrait album 'a must have' in any collection ' said one reviewer.

Aeon Zen's music has been described as transcending stylistic and generic boundaries, moving from soft to heavy and defying categorization as purely metal, rock, progressive or even classical. A fusion of "many stylistic elements", Aeon Zen's music includes "catchy melodies", "a diverse mix of songs and styles", and "progressive time changes" which "run through the gamut of emotions".   In terms of comparison, many reviewers have noted their affinity with others in the Progressive Metal field, notably Dream Theater, Queensr’che and Symphony X.

The debut live show will be on Friday April 9th where Aeon Zen live will headline a three band bill at the Luminaire in London and onstage with Rich (Bass) will be: from Sweden, Andi Kravljaca (Vocals) of Silent Call, Matt Shepherd (Guitar),  Mike Lennon (Drums) ex-UK's Timefall  and Cristian Van Schuerbeck (Keyboards) of US band All Too Human."

Main support are Bristol-based JEBO, who began life just a few short years ago, founded by songwriter/guitar wizard Rob Allen and drummer 'international' Jeff France. The duet formed a band around themselves whilst Rob began working on their debut album 'Sinking Without You', released in 2007. Later that year and following a European tour, JEBO played support at the Loreley Festival in Germany to the likes of Jethro Tull and Asia, the band had also previously supported artists such as It Bites. Following a lineup change earlier this year, JEBO have now fine-tuned both their sound and are ready to head out on the road again.

Drawing influences from bands such as The Who, Pearl Jam and Radiohead, JEBO strive to give a tiptop live performance full of energy, drive and verve, in short, they'll blow yer bloomin' head off! The combined efforts of Rob on guitar and Jeff on drums is perfectly complemented by the pounding bass of Gianfredo Koenig, the soaring vocals of Kev Messenger and the delicately played keyboards of Nick O Neill, this 5 piece are a veritable powerhouse, do not miss them!

The band has just completed work on their second album entitled 'Settle Up, Settle Down'. They have once again chosen to work with ex Island Records' producer John Burns (Jethro Tull, Genesis, John Martyn) with Real World's Ben Findlay as engineer.
