Touchstone are a five-piece rock band with prog/rock/alternative influences. The band was formed in 2003 by Rob Cottingham & Adam J Hodgson. Paul Moorghen joined on bass in 2006, Al Melville joined on drums in January 2007, and to complete the line up Kim Seviour joined on vocals April 2007. The first studio EP, Mad Hatters, was recorded in April 2006 at Outhouse Studios in Reading.
"One of our favorite new bands... scintillating amalgam of atmospheric prog and jolting power chords. An album of skyscraper proportions. - Geoff Barton, Classic Rock Magazine

The band then recorded their debut album, Discordant Dreams, there in July 2007 with John Mitchell (Kino, It Bites, Arena, Frost*) mixing, andTim Turan (Motorhead, Frost*, Marilyn Manson) mastering the LP. In January 2008 - the band won 'Best New Band Award' at the Classic Rock Society awards and in September 2008 toured the UK with It Bites. The band's second album. Wintercoast, was also recorded and mixed again at Outhouse in February-March 2009, using the same team. Oscar-winning actor, Jeremy Irons, also features as a very special guest performing the prelude narration.

"Really great new band and great tracks." - Rick Wakeman, Planet Rock Radio / Yes

The album was launched at the Rites Of Spring festival (RoSFest) in Philadelphia May 2009 and was featured in Classic Rock magazine June 2009 and has received stunning reviews. The band returned to USA in October 2009 for the CalProg festival in LA and have been booked to play the High Voltage Festival in London July 2010 playing with bands like ZZ Top, ELP and Foreigner. The band also plan to play Europe in 2010.

"Touchstone could teach them (Dream Theater and Spock's Beard) a thing or two about songwriting. The result is an astonishing combination of muscle and melody." - Rob Evans, Powerplay Magazine

The Aurora Project is progressive rock band, hailing from The Netherlands. In 2006 the band released their first album 'Unspoken Words' which was critically acclaimed by worldwide press. Soon the band started touring clubs and festivals with bands like Pain of Salvation, Riverside and Treshold. With their new album 'Shadow Border' the band touches new ground.

The album received a release by Laser's Edge, home to bands like Knight's Area and Zero Hour. Press describes the album as more song-oriented and compliment the great production, done by Joost van den Broek (Ayreon, After Forever).

"The best things come to those who wait. Shadow Border is all about seven awe-inspiring tracks of pure progressive bliss with some unexpected twists and turns." - Classic Rock Society (UK)

"Shadow Border combines a modern hard rocking sensibility with classic elements similar to bands like Yes, Marillion and Pink Floyd. And they do it all with a style that is uniquely their own. This album will almost certainly be making my "best of 2009" list." - Music Street Journal (UAS)

"Dennis Binnekade vocals are a cross between Threshold's Mac McDermott and Tool's Maynard Keenan while the guitar work goes between Jim Matheos and Steve Rothery" - Ystjejam (USA)
