They Don't Sleep celebrate the launch of their new EP 'The Drawing Game' tonight. The London four piece combine flowing piano, intricate guitars, battering drums and multiple vocals to form a sound that has been likened to The Mars Volta, Mogwai, Sigur Ros and ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead. They move through cinematic ambience to progressive instrumental passages and off kilter rhythms, all the while keeping the emphasis on melody with vocals that move from intimate whispers to explosive screams.
"Anything but lifeless with a soaring set which tugs heavily at the heart and begs for listening ears." [Drownedinsound]
"Tired Irie are like a glorious mix of Q and Not U, Shipping News and some math-pop dream!" [Drownedinsound]
"This five piece swing from call and response vocals, to YMSS alike spazz outs, to shoulder-shrugging disco funk basslines dragged up from the bowels of hell." [GodsintheTV]
Project Serendipity is melodic 'one man and his laptop' noodling incorporating glitchy beats and live instruments, including guitar keys and melodica.
