The legend of XBXRX began back in '98 with a group of southern bred kids aged 13 to 15. Fuelled by explosive adolescent energy and brimming with rebellion against the complacency of their conservative hometown, the youths soon bust out of Mobile, AL, leaving a smouldering pile of decimated guitars, drums and keyboards in their wake and racking up a kamikaze-like tally of hospital visits! The XB sound mates a post-hardcore guitar onslaught with articulate experimentation and intense, cathartic vocals to create a relentlessly modern, political rock music that is as chilling as it is invigorating.
The band have toured the US relentlessly with their damaged, deranged 10 minute live explosions, garnering a string of awesome records for GSL, 5RC, Narnack, Deleted Art and Polyvinyl. The current line-up is led by Chris and Steve Touchton (aka Vice Cooler and Snowsuit*) along with hardcore legend Weasel Walter on drums.
This promises to be one hell of a show!

Blood On The Wall is a rock'n'roll revival hosted by brother / sister singing songwriters Brad and Courtney Shanks and set to the beat of veteran drummer Miggy Littleton. A love letter to the trashy chic of the last thirty years of their East Village home, their sound is equal parts Richard Hell and Voidoids, early Pixies, grimy Sonic Youth and early Yo La Tengo. Following two fine albums for The Social Registry, the band are currently touring the US with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs! Their second LP entitled 'Awesomer' is set to be reissued on Fat Cat in the UK in July. First on are Lovvers, a quartet from Nottingham, spawned from the fall-out of The Murder Of Rosa Luxemburg. They trade in a demolition-derby mix of obvious hooks and intelligent abrasion, evoking reminiscences of that Dischord brand of post-punk we all know and love.
