Mark Eitzel, singer and songwriter of American Music Club will be making his second apperance at The Luminiare performing songs from his solo catalogue as well as old and yet to be recorded songs from the upcoming new American Music Club album.

Mark has been called "America's greatest living lyricist" by The Guardian and was voted by Rolling Stone as Songwriter of the year. He has released over 14 albums with his group American Music Club as well as solo artist and is one of the most intense and enduring performers around.

Supporting is David Hurn, a singer-songwriter who released his debut single 'Sick Of Hate' in 1999 on Day Release Records, followed by live performances in London and Berlin.

He was signed to Fire Records in 2001, leading to support slots with - amongst others - Mark Eitzel and British Sea Power. His debut album 'He Was A Woman' was released in 2002, followed by the critically acclaimed 'No Love' E.P.

Live shows across the U.K followed in 2003, including an appearance at the Green Man Festival. In 2004 David performed at the SxSW festival in Texas, recorded a number of BBC Radio sessions, as well as composing music for a series of short experimental films. A 3 track CD single titled 'How I Came To Hate My Saviour' was released at the end of June 2006 on Fire Records. Has also contributed music for 'Chamber Music Project', a tribute album to James Joyce (featuring Sonic Youth, Magnetic Fields, Mercury Rev, and many others).

David's new full length album, 'The Beautiful Trustful Future' is scheduled for release on Fire later this year.
