Sun 29th Flow presents The final fling, with... FLOW + Mann Friday + GZ + Coley + The Frame
Doors 6.00
Flow return to The Luminaire one last time in a free farewell gig before the band goes in different directions. (Not wanky artistic ones, just some people are returning to NZ and some are staying in London). Since their mostly-acoustic rock tunes were first heard here at The Luminaire 15 months ago they’ve played a host of the city’s top venues (like the Halfmoon and Neighbourhood), got press coverage in The Observer, TNT magazine and New Zealand Times, and have played in the Greek Islands and at the Eternal Summer Festival in Newquay. Support tonight comes from a bunch of the best musicians they’ve met in their travels. Mann Friday, with their Zimbabwean and South African roots, are stars on the unsigned circuit here – headlining all over town. They’re dropping down the bill tonight to help the occasion and will deliver a stripped down acoustic show. GZ, who cleaned up Stanmore’s first Acoustic Edge competition, will be firing fresh hip-hop sounds that’ll stick in your head and get your feet moving. Coley and The Frame, both from North London, will bring quality rock to the occasion. |
