Prior to Devastations is HTRK, a three-piece from Melbourne. Teenagers, night clubs, dreams. Loose mechanical funk bass, rough psych guitar, hypnotic 808 beats, bizarre synth, dead sexy femme vox, floor tom.
"Slow and filthy, that's the way we like it. HTRK manage to record the missing semi-industrial dirt soundtrack to that Richard Kern film you know he has in the private stash of him and Lydia Lunch getting to 'know' each other while watching David Lynch movies [20 Jazz Funk Greats]

And first on is Terry Edwards, known for leading The Scapegoats & his work with Lydia Lunch, Madness, Jimi Tenor, Gallon Drunk & countless others - including a recent stint with Tom Waits' Black Rider production. For his solo set he plays alto sax, pocket trumpet & melodica over pre-recorded soundscapes, drawing on the old & the new including Never Understand, Well You Needn't, Harlem Nocturne and a rich vein of original improvisations.
