Since 2001, I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness (along with their local predecessors Paul Newman, Windsor for the Derby, and Glorium), have paid their dues by becoming THE band to play with in Austin. Now, it's time to put a sound to the name.

Reminiscent of latter-era Talk Talk, and sounding like a thinking man's Interpol, this is a band enjoying its time in the spotlight. Described by Res Magazine as an "ethereal anthems with a great bass hooks and gently chiming guitars", they transcend and destroy the generational gap that plagues so many bands these days who were influenced Joy Division and New Wave hookery.

Supreme Vagabond Crafstman as main support supply "a discordant hiphop tempo singalong somewhere inbetween Beck and the Super Furry Animals. Very odd, very good." [Boomkat.com]

The Low Lows are making some of the best music we've have heard in a long, long time.

DJ Cherrystones [Gareth] has just released an album with Poptones and will be making it all very ugly for Halloween.
