Black Emperor, Charalambides, Deerhunter), equal parts Labradford and Arvo Pärt, return for their first London date in six years in support of their critically lauded new album, 'Stars of the Lid and their Refinement of the Decline'.
Support comes from labelmates Boduf Songs, Southhampton resident Mat Sweet's guitar/Laptop/violin sketches beguiling and haunting like victorian crypto-taxidermical experiments. The shadows of artists as disparate as Robert Wyatt, Roky Erickson, David Tibet, Jandek and Hood can be glimpsed flitting through the trees outside. |
