The Autumnal funk is fast getting blown away as the icy winds of winter raise a collar or two. However Clash Club has a cockle roaster for you, your ears and your two dancing feet.

The Freelance Hellraiser: This man has had a career like no other. An undisputed bootleg master and all round underground guru he then progressed to travelling the globe as Paul McCartney’s official tour DJ. In the last two years however he's been concentrating on his live band which marries straight-up indie, house, electro, funk as well as a healthy dose of insightful lyrics and some serious song writing craft.

Main support is George Demure: you may be familiar with this man from his years at the forefront of the house music scene; as George T he travelled the globe rocking clubs to their foundations as well as recording as Plastic Avengers and running one of Scotland’s premier record shops – Underground Solushun.
In 2002 he headed south with his little party bundle and red hanky on a stick and started his London life with a bang. Signing to Output and more latterly Tirk, George rediscovered his love of the guitar and playing live rather than just DJing. From this point you can join the story; as lounge meets techno; funk meets electronica.

The ninth in the continuing Clash Club legacy follows blinding previous events that played host to Jeremy Warmsley, Action Plan, Radioclit, Low Sparks, Spektrum, The Fratellis, Apartment, Pull Tiger Tail, 747s, Midlake, Deaf Stereo, The Sunshine Underground, Union Of Knives, Radar, The View, Larrikin Love, Captain Black, The Rank Deluxe, The Bishops and The Crimea. Clash, the groundbreaking and award-winning bimonthly music and fashion magazine, is proud to continue its association at London’s Luminaire in Kilburn.
