John Power was the bass guitarist with The La's, who had success in 1990 with their hit single 'There She Goes' and their eponymous album which attained cult status.
Power left The La's in 1993 to form Cast, with whom he sung, played guitar and wrote. After four albums and a string of successful singles, Cast split in 2002. Power went on to release a solo album, 'Happening For Love' in 2003. Now he has recorded a new solo album, featuring the former La's drummer Nick Minski who contributes bass, drums and handclaps. The album is titled 'Willow She Weeps' and it's due for release on Tanuki Tanuki on 25 September.
