Sun 27th The Luminaire presents A launch party for 'Bandalism - Do Not Destroy Your Group' by Julian Ridgway featuring the fine talents of THE BRIAN JACKET LETDOWN + Electric Cinema
Doors 7.30 Bandalism is a self-help manual for bands. It guides you from finding the right members through to breaking up at the right time, taking in such crucial steps as avoiding 'nervous exhaustion' and how not to make a rubbish second album. Bandalism is an occasionally ranting, diagram-filled guide on how to avoid screwing up your group for the same old predictable reasons.
And so, to celebrate the launch of this momentous book, The Brian Jacket Letdown and Electric Cinema will be performing on stage, and other stuff will happen too, which we'll tell you about in a minute.
