From the label that graciously gave you Beulah, Unbelievable Truth, Jack Drag, The Unisex, Elf Power, SchwaB and The Young Knives comes a clutch of new singings to prove that the world has always needed a little Shifty Disco.

The Race exploded from the current musical hot-bed of Reading in 2005 with a brace of double A-side singles which had The Fly, amongst many, eulogising, 'a magical debut single. it's a smearing of Pixies, with a light dusting of early U2, that should have you heading for the start line.'
Paperlung took shape at the end of 2005 when former Boo Radleys singer Sice chanced upon bass player Simon Gardiner at Victoria Station. A dozen rehearsals and four gigs later the band were in the studio recording their debut single 'The Days That God Sold You' for release on Shifty Disco on 10th April 2006.
Seagull Strange have upgraded to a 6-piece following the release of their debut 'Animals' EP late in 2005 ' a bastard child of 80s synth-pop, 70s rock and Bristolian Beats. Live, lead singer Dan Telling has combined the intensity of Michael Stipe with the coolness of Neil Young.
Their local Brighton magazine The Source have said that
My Device are 'skinny enough to be real contenders' but are 'struck by their instinctive mixing of current trendy guitar rock sonics and more classic alternative influences'. Their debut album, 'Nervous System', is out on Shifty Disco on April 17th. Sometimes it takes a while for the world to catch up but Shifty Disco rarely gets it wrong.
