The Vibrators are punk legends of 30 years, having toured with The Stranglers, Iggy Pop and the Sex Pistols. This a rare opportunity to check them out for the first time, of if you're of a certain age, come and relive your youth.
Main support from The Duel whose new album 'Let's Finish What We Started' features Knox from The Vibrators, nod to The Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Clash or even Xrayspecs. Big Cheese magazine were moved to write; "Helen Love meets Republica meets The Clash. The Duel are on target with female agressive vocals but still tuneful. We're onto something folks!"
Before that we've Dr. Filth, who'll be taking the stage fresh from touring with the fabulous Mystery Jets, mixing punk with jazz-rock. They're fun, serious, old fashioned, new and eccentric.
First on are
Rival Joustas, also recent Mystery Jets touring buddies. Their songs, write Southscene.net, are "mostly 3 minute slices of some of the most screwball, intense and electrifying rock-pop you may ever hear. Punk attitudes, punk/funk bass playing... they're the true successors to Iggy Pop's crown."
