Fancy Dress: Pop Art / Surrealism

The infamous art collective Lazy Gramophone come together to celebrate their sixth gig and the Birthday of compère Phil Levine. The night will bring music, theatre and poetry in the hotpot of The Luminaire. Be sure to dress for the occasion.

no chance milega. This secret band from the moon blends progressive Drum & Bass, folk-tronica and Gregorian drones, with a pinch of urban attitude.

"West coast Psychedelic pop band meets 90's noise outfit." [BBC radio Oxford]

After years of blood, sweat and tears with princes, politicians and various noisy incarnations, King John took to the stage to sit alone on his throne to play the royal blues. Originally hailing from a sea faring Island to the south, at the mouth of a port, John ventured north to seek the nobility of his birth. Waking one hazy morning to the sound of Muddy Waters, Mannish Boy John knew he had come of age. He picked his slide up, grabbed his guitar and ventured out into the London streets to play as many backwater, dirty joints as possible giving back to the people all the joy he had received in good will and encouragement.

Foolish People create Theatre, Art and Film that is an essential ritual, which raises a numinous experience within the spectator by combining art with Hermetica, Gnosticism and the Esoteric.

"Foolish People's Dark Nights of the Soul is a truly unique production. By turns darkly comic, surreal, horrific, genuinely thought provoking and certainly not for the faint of heart. Verdict: Dark Nights of the Soul is pure Fortean magick."

Ernesto Sarezale is a published poet performer, cognitive scientist, video artist, Central London Farrago Poetry Slam Champion 2006, BUTT magazine centrefold & award winning academic - with a baffling interest in postmenopausal female breasts and an unreserved dislike for spam

Sam Rawlings: Reading from his book ‘Circle Time’ published by Lazy Gramophone this is a collection of sketches: simple and honest, these poems seek to placate experience and depict the eternity beyond our landscape.

Gypsy Girl, the previously elusive poetess, is ready to share. She has performed at open mic nights in both London and L.A, writes mainly poetry, some songs and sings the odd line when words aren't enough. A regular on the Lazy G nights. Be sure not to miss.
