"The finest young British female singer-songwriter to emerge over the last 12 months." [Uncut ****]

Polly Paulusma started playing her guitar and piano-based songs on London's acoustic circuit in 2001 and never looked back. She was half-way through making her first album at home when One Little Indian signed her in 2003.

"Complete, pure and personal." [Mojo ****]

The resulting debut, 'Scissors In My Pocket', came out in the UK in April 2004 to critical acclaim. Polly's new single 'Back to the Start' will be released on 4th June followed by her new album 'Fingers & Thumbs' on 11th June.

"An enchanting debut of understated, intelligent folk pop." [Rolling Stone]

Main support are Gold Sounds who play intimate pop, bristling with lyrical and melodic energy, orchestrated by five men who have relocated from Nottingham to London, where they heard the streets were lined with gold.

"When these studious young believers get their heads down and give us a tune as delightful as 'Prints' - think David Gedge duetting with the Divine Comedy - they're a joy to behold." [Drowned In Sound]
