NORTHWOOD & TRASH MONEY

Northwood come to you via Copenhagen & London. Their songs are a window to beaches, hearts, longships, waterguns, icy lakes and ponyrides. Intimate and rolling songs with subtle, intense melodies and restrained edge that know when to hold back. Flavours of the west coast, topanga canyon, Oxford villages and Danish summerhouses. They suggest something classic but find a new way to get to your hips and heart. Voice, guitar, wurlitzer/piano/mellotron, bass, drums.
Trash Money: Disco get up and go, punk attitude, elecronic reanimation, filthy grooves, sleazy guitars, dirty vocals and twisted genres. Trashmoney are like a Frankenstein's montser of all the bits the other bands threw out when they did their ecclectic fusing! Two frontmen, two guitars, one drummer (but he is two good). In their own words they are "slags with taste". They make you want to dance and sing along and take someone home that you'll regret in the morning.
With an acoustic set, the unique London songwriter, Anthony Elvin, sings about characters whom he encounters and the romances of the day. In a strong English accent he takes the listener out on a spree in 'Perfect London', a London of your dreams - somewhat modern yet gaslit, pastoral yet subliminally violent.
