Combining bubbling polyrhymic guitars, aching vocal melodies and dance oriented drumlines, Foals create upbeat (allbeit off-kilter) pop songs with a real Jekyll and Hyde complex. Foals is the coming together of three Oxford bands Face Meets Grill (split), The Edmund Fitzgerald (split) and Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies.
A breathless combination of Youthmovies, Biffy Clyro and Mew, Cats And Cats And Cats deliver an intense brand of off-kilter rock music drawing from both the math-rock and post-rock disciplines equally. Glittering stop-start melodies.
Maybeshewill is a four-piece instrumental rock band from Leicester. They combine epic instrumental rock with unconventional instrumentation and off-kilter electronic drum beats.
 Fight Fire With Water combine intense math-rock inspired off-kilter riffery with the gentle textural guitars of post-rock. The four piece perform Insanely energetic and intelligent instrumental songs that hurt their heads to write. More info from Robot Needs Home.
