The Rag & Bone Hootenanny is a folk festival in miniature, celebrating the launch of Rag & Bone Magazine. The first issue includes work by Billy Childish, Jack Zipes, Clare Rojas and Burmese artist Htein Lin, as well as interviews with Marina Warner and new folkies Espers.

Headlining will be New York's angriest yodelling banjo player, Curtis Eller. The bastard child of Tom Waits and Buster Keaton, Eller is a circus veteran with a mean moustache.

Also on the bill is the acclaimed 'Soho subterranean' Yo Zushi, described by Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC Radio One) as 'the spirit of Bob Dylan for the 21st Century'. His second album, 'Notes for \"Holy Larceny\"', is out now on Pointy Records.
'...dreamy and beautiful... It’s Conor Oberst sharing an orange juice with Johnny Cash... Yo Zushi’s campfire tales are at once wistful and uplifting, and this talented songwriter’s fire looks set to continue burning.'
**** and a half - Subba-Culture;
'A masterclass in storytelling' - Dazed & Confused;
'The start of something major' - **** Q

With Cherry Mash Cherry (featuring Wooden Spoon), and Sasha Ilyukevich's Belarussian gypsy songs.

Artist Matthew Cowan will be performing a short avant garde Morris dance in a suit covered entirely in bells.
