German electronica wizards Schneider TM headline in support of their new album 'škoda mluvit'. on City Slang
Main supporters Headland are an electropsychedelicpoporsomething 5-piece from West London. Their first album 'Touchy Feely' got 4 stars from the Guardian and was acclaimed by The Sunday Times as "amazing" and by the NME as "ace space-pop... thrilling, throbbing electro".
Headland's set at Glastonbury last summer was a pick of the festival for The Times ("bringing art-school wit and urbane retro-pop collage to the festival mudbath") and, according to Playlouder, blew Kasabian off the stage.
First on, we're very pleased to say, is
Piney Gir. Since releasing a ravishing debut "Peakahokahoo" on Truck Records in 2004 she's won hearts and minds with her delectable blends of electronic pop, jazzband antics and effortless tales of heartbreak.
She's played festivals, swish nightclubs, and supported Erasure on their European tour last year, bringing a smattering of 1930's nightclub Berlin and the inspiration of the Midwestern plains to every show she graces.
Piney has finished her Country Roadshow album due for release later this year, and is collaborating with The Age Of Reason on her forthcoming electronic album.
