Clash Magazine - voted Best Music Magazine of the Year at the Record of the Day Awards in London - return with Club Clash at The Luminaire.
Headliners The Fratellis describe themselves as three lonely, feisty musicians with GSOH. Hailing from the mean streets of Glasgow, they flaunt a kinky clash of glam-pop and rock, neatly branded as T-Rex crossed with The Libertines. They're ably supported by Spektrum, a four-piece punk-dance band that throws a tighter live show than youšve ever seen before. Led by their enigmatic front person Lola Olafasoye - Grace Jones meets the Slits - their fans include James Murphy (DFA), Andrew Weatherall, Mylo and !!!.
First on are Low Sparks who specialise in marrying pop sensibilities with the out-and-out rambunctiousness of high-energy indie. They say, "We play good music", and they're not wrong.
