Hybrasil formed in Wicklow, Ireland, and have played most of the best venues in their home country with their self-styled brand of 'Indietronic'. In 2005 they supported such luminaries as Snow Patrol, The Frank and Walters and Pony Club and opened for legendary Liverpool act The La's, for their fist gig in over a decade.
Hybrasil's debut EP 'We Got Music' was released internationally (and digitally) in February. The band are currently working on their debut album which is expected later in 2006.
Championed by the likes of Steve Lamacq, XFM, the Fly and many more, Reading-based
Rebus have a new EP out on Heathen Records on the 17th April. The boys have recently signed to the management team behind Bjork and Arcade Fire and have been described by the BBC as: "a throbbing blast of disco-cum-garage-cum-punk that magically attaches strings to your feet and makes them dance. Post-apocalyptic disco sounds. Their time is now, their time is here."
First on are
Kingsize.
