TICKETS

There are two ways to get into a show here:

1. Buy a ticket in advance via one of the online ticketing agencies we use.
2. Pay cash on the door once the doors open on the night of the gig, assuming it hasn't sold out in advance.

You will notice there is not a third way which involves phoning The Luminaire, and you will notice there is not a fourth way which involves coming down to The Luminaire before doors open to buy a ticket. This is because we have no ticket-selling facility in the venue itself.

To buy tickets for a show, go to the event listing and you'll see the online outlets who're handling tickets for that particular show. We use both TicketWeb and WeGotTickets -  a small, independent company with whom we've worked since we opened - for our own 'Luminaire presents' shows. Some of our external promoters use SeeTickets and other ticketing agencies. Most of the outlets take orders over the phone.

We would like to reiterate again - in the nicest way we can - that The Luminaire itself has no advance-ticket-selling box office facility in the building, so please don't call us to ask if you can buy tickets from us over the phone and please don't come down to the club to try and buy them before a show. We can't sell you tickets over the phone. We don't have any here because we don't deal in physical tickets and we have no way of taking your money over the phone. If you want to come to a show you need to go back up to the start of this page and re-read points '1' and '2'.
